In winter, the views in mountains are nice and you can easily see Mt. Fuji from top of Mt. Takao.
The coldness of the mountains also tightens your body.
Takaosanguchi Station, the nearest station to Mt. Takaosan, can be reached in about an hour on the Keio Line from Shinjuku Station. Would you like to refresh yourself at Mt. Takao, which is rich in nature and has easy access?
If you are worried about climbing the mountain alone, please come! !
On the second Saturday of every month, this Refresh in Mountains organizes guided trekking that is relatively easy and enjoyable.
Even on the low mountain Mt. Takao (599m), it may snow depending on the weather. Although there is not a lot of snowfall. Why not refresh your body after New Year's holidays at Mt. Takao? The autumn color leaves have been over, and you can enjoy hiking through the fallen leaves with making saku saku sounds. You may be able to see ice crystals forming at the base of a plant unique to winter, the botanical name Shimobasilla. You may also be able to find the fruit of the Miyamafuyu strawberry, which grows in the winter.
Expected flowers we can see at this hiking
