我が家の小さな庭に渋柿の苗木を植えて5年目、今年やっと実がなり自家製の干し柿ができました。
去年までは実がついても大きくなる前にすべて落下していました。今年も大きくなる前に落下した実もありましたが、11月までに30ヶほどの大きな実がなりました。
赤くなった実から少しずつ収穫し、ベランダに干し、2,3週間後に柔らかくなり、美味しく頂けるようになりました。甘柿もいいですが、干し柿も美味しいこの季節大好きです。
It's been five years since I planted a persimmon sapling in my small garden, and this year it finally bore fruit, allowing me to make homemade dried persimmons.
Until last year, even if the fruit bore, they would all fall off before they could grow big. This year, some of the fruits fell off before they could grow big, but by November, around 30 large fruits had grown.
I harvested the grown red fruits little by little and dried them on the balcony. After two or three weeks, they softened and were ready to eat. I love this season as we can enjoy sweet persimmons and especially the dried persimmons which is very delicious.
